Partnerships
Our key partners are:
- Pupils, Parents and carers
- Local authority and NHS professionals
- Other professionals and experts
- The local community
Parents and Carers
Working effectively with parents and carers is one of the key priorities for our school. Our Family Footings team ensure that relationships with families are productive and supportive of their children’s educational experience, a relationship that we refer to as ‘Parents as Partners’.
Local Authority and NHS professionals
We use a multidisciplinary approach to all aspects of planning and delivery. This is to draw on expertise from key professions such as occupational therapy, speech and language therapy and educational psychology for direct support to children and for development of staff and the organisation
External input from specialist CAMHS teams and other professionals will be sought and used appropriately.
Other professionals and experts
We look for opportunities to engage with expertise/services that we know will enhance the provision for young people. This may be as a one off or long term basis, dependant on the needs of the school and individual pupils. For example:
- Therapies and counselling
- Therapeutic services e.g. therapy dog
- Careers advice
Local Community
We value being an active part of the local community and are committed to building strong connections with those around us. This includes working closely with our local church, Flourish at the Farm, and Middle Earth. We actively look for opportunities to get involved and support local initiatives, and our hope is that the school will become a valued resource for the whole community.
We support full access to a range of services including:
- Social Care
- Educational Psychologist
- Child and Adolescent consultants
- Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service
- Speech and Language Service
